DLNA service on your server

Intall miniDLNA

sudo apt install minidlna

Once installed, edit the config file:

sudo nano /etc/minidlna.conf

Search for the following lines:

  • media_dir=/mnt/media
  • friendly_name=Media
  • inotify=yes

Now restart:

sudo minidland –R

And reload the database:

sudo service minidlna force-reload

Thats all, now you can check the progress if you open {{serverIp}}:8200
